The Day my baby GIRL was BORN!!

 On December 19th at about 10:30pm i was just climbing into bed when all of the sudden i felt a GUSH of fluid, and i laid there for a moment truly wondering if i had peed my pants (laugh its ok i do!) i mean i was still 4 days away from my due date and last time i was checked i wasn't even dilated AT ALL! So i Nudged Bryan and told him to go get my mom and brother "I THINK ITS TIME!!" I immediately felt a RUSH of adrenaline and i remember thinking, am i really ready for this? is this really happening?  WHAT just happened!!? and AM I READY to be a MOM to a baby everyday, not just on the weekends??  Most women in the last month of your pregnancy you can't wait for this moment, just always think "just get this baby out of me" but was i really READY NOW?? But none of that really mattered now cause there was NOTHING i could do to stop it!!

 When we got to the Hospital (Good Samaritan Hospital) they informed us that my water had in fact broke, and i was DEFIANTLY in Labor!! But to my knowledge i was NOT dilated AT ALL! So they started me on Pitocin to get my contractions started and get the labor moving.  They also told me that since my water broke that i would ONLY have 24 from then to deliver Ambree or they would have to do an emergency C-Section because Ambree would have been without adequate about fluid for to long.  I choose to not get an epidural right away cause i had heard that it can slow down the labor process, and there was NO way i would going to do something that might put me and even more of a risk of having a C-Section.  So needless to say i made it to a 6 (dilated) before i opted to get the epidural.  When i finally reached a 10 i was ready to push!! ONLY 45 mins of that and YOU WERE HERE!!!!!

WEDDING BELLS!!

2 YEARS ago yesterday on June 4, 2011 Bryan and I Tied the Knot!! We actually had our wedding in Provo, UT at Timpanogos Park.  It was one the Best days of my life, I became a wife and Aiden Legal Step-MOM!!  It was beautiful and more that anything I could have imagined!  I really have to thank my mother for doing everything in her power to make it the most wonderful day just for me!!  Looking back there is absolutely NOTHING that I would have changed.  After the wedding we traveled back to Washington,  our home, and had a reception for all of our family and friends that couldn't make it to the wedding in Utah.

Looking Back....

Ok So lets Start Out by saying that the day my daughter was born was not the day that I became a MOTHER, I became a mother the beginning of 2010.  I started Dating a guy named Bryan McAtee (Later actually became my husband!) the Summer of 2009, I knew he had a son but unfortunately he was in Hawaii with his mother and her new husband, little did I know that sooner rather than later I would meet this little boy and he would FOREVER change my life! My life with Bryan was just getting good when he got a call that he had been hoping to get since the moment that his son got taken away, Aiden and his mother were coming home (back to Washington)!!!!  I couldn't have been more happy for him than I was at that moment. Weeks passed in a flash while getting ready for the arrival of his 20 month old Son!

The moment that, that little boy came into my life I KNEW that I was suppose to be his mother!! I then really found out what everyone means when they say "a mothers love is different" and YES it really is, either being a mother to a child that you birthed or a mother to a child that you CHOOSE to love, a child that was born to someone else.  We had Aiden Every Wednesday through Saturday for 3 YEARS!! I got to watch him grow and change in SO many ways!! We became the best of friends, he was my little Bug.

                                                                                                                      

Unfortunately I am not able to see him due to the decisions that his mom has chosen. and this past month on May 23 it was his 5th birthday, the ONLY birthday that I have missed besides his 1st and I would have given ANYTHING to see him and to hug him and personally wish him a Happy birthday, but since I couldn't this is what I had to say, Happiest 5th birthday to the little boy that not only made me a mother, taught me the true meaning of loving someone unconditionally and the BOY that always knows how to make someone smile!!! Aiden you may be far away from me now but you are never far from my thoughts or my HEART!!!!! I LOVE you so much BUG I hope you are having a FANTASTIC birthday!!!!
